About Me

 

Ever since I was young, I loved writing. It was a way that I could express myself. As a child, you could often find me journaling and writing my thoughts on any piece of paper I could find. When I wrote, I could be heard and be as creative as I wanted to be. As I grew up, I became interested in cultivating and shaping my writing abilities.

 

That is largely why I focused my higher education on taking professional writing courses at the University of Central Florida. I chose Public Relations and Advertising as my major and Writing and Rhetoric as my minor because I believed that these programs would capture my creativity and teach me how to use it effectively in a professional setting. Both programs are heavily writing based and focus on producing quality, professional work. During my time in college and at internships, I've have produced many useful writing skills that are shown in this portfolio.

 

The most impactful thing I've learned and the reason I truly love writing is realizing how powerful my words can be. Words can create or destroy. They have the power to change things. I can make a difference with my words. And I fully intend to do just that.
