This project is the one that I am most proud of. For my Writing and Rhetoric minor, we had to choose a social issue and create a campaign to make a difference. Florida has one of the highest rates of homelessness in the country, so I centered my campaign around that issue.

I work for a young adult ministry called Mezzanine, and I also work closely with a homeless organization called Overlook Ministries. For the campaing, the organizations teamed up, and the Mezzanine brought in items that Overlook Ministries said they were in need of. Then we had a volunteer day where we fed and distributed those items to homeless individuals in the community. The campaign was highly successful. Shortly after, an article was written about my campaign.

On this page is the video that was shown to the Mezzanine to encourage them to bring in the needed items and volunteer. There are also pictures of the event and the link to the article written about my campaign. 

A lot of preparation, attention to detail, and volunteer coordination went into to pulling this campaign off. I believe these skills would be an asset to the company I work for.
