I was the communications intern for the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, FL. During my time at the Zoo, I was tasked with writing a press release about the new General Curator, Lonnie McCaskill. I completed the task, and shortly after, the press release was published in the Sanford Herald. I also recieved an email from my supervisor congratulating me on being the first intern to have no edits to their press release. My press release was printed as is.
