Public Relations is the area that I focused most of my studies on. I have created press releases, media advisories, bios and much more. On this page, is a project I did with a group for Central Florida Community Arts. They are a local nonprofit that provide the Central Florida community with a musical outlet. We created a pitch that was sent to PBS to feature Central Florida Community Arts in their very popular One Segments. Our pitch included staff bios, a media advisory, a fact sheet, and more. One of the challenges for this project was to tailor our communication to our audience, PBS, and showcase the aspects of the nonprofit that would appeal to them. This was also done in a short amount of time, so working efficiently was key.
